Red face ALS and fund raising ideas from around the world

Encountered an unusually large number of stories on ALS from around the world today; I haven't done a news blast in a while I thought now might be a good time; a few are about science but most profile a case from somewhere around the world, usually associated with a patient specific fundraiser, some address social issues in context ALS.
