There was/is a nice 4'x4' bed of asparagus growing here when I bought this house. I've researched and learned a few things, like pulling up the female plants. But what I'd like to know is how to contain new growth to the bed area. New males (the stalks we eat) are starting to come up on the outskirts.
Anyone have ideas or suggestions?
