Hi, I am new here. I haven't been diagnosed with anything, but I have been going through neuro testing with nothing conclusive. My original neuro thought I had CIDP, but 3 other neuros after that don't concur. My latest symptom for about a month now is constant burning 24/7. It's all over my body, but moves around. Even affects my tongue & face, and everywhere else. Mostly in legs and arms, but it moves around to abdomen, chest, back, and elsewhere. It started off more extreme than it is now. I'm just living with it.
I had a lyme test which came back positive for IgM but not IgG. My neuro said I had neurologic lyme disease and wanted me treated right away but an infectious disease doc thinks I had a false-positive result and he blew it off. I'm seeing another doc about it and being re-tested. I wish I knew what was going on. Anyone else have this burning feeling? They're also mentioning small fiber neuropathy to me. I'm having a skin nerve biopsy done on Monday a.m. and if I have that, it should pick it up on that test. Thanks, Kate |
