Hi all!
I've posted a couple weeks ago about RSD wreaking havoc on the adrenal gland ( because of burnout from 1.constant pain signaling and 2. long term use of pain meds). A lot of the chronic pain and fatigue symptoms associated with Adrenal fatigue/exhaustion described me to a "T". I was getting to the point where I didn't have the adrenaline rush needed to yell at my kids (ha ha) and if I got upset, I got really light-headed. So, I purchased something called Adrenal Health by GAIA Herbs (amazon.com for about $20) . They are capsules of organic dry herbs (Rhodiola root, Holy Basil extract, Ashwagandha root, Wild Oats Milky Seed, and Schisandra berry). I'm on day 4 of taking the herbs and for me they are WONDERFUL ![]() I'm very excited and am keeping my fingers crossed that much of what ails me may be partly to a beat adrenal gland. I'll keep you posted on any new progress, as it has only been 4 days (but was excited to share news) God Bless you all!!!!!!! ![]() |

My mom put me on adrenal vitamins over a week ago. They support sleep as well. i havent had to take my sleep medicine the past few nights which is really nice. I dont ever drink caffiene because it does no good for me, so I guess I should know if my adrenals are better when i have a cup of non-decaf tea. I noticed a difference after taking them. lets just hope it lasts!!!

Thanks for sharing this. I'd like to suggest that if you found this combination of a mish-mash of herbs to help you, you ought to try and isolate the herb that is really doing the "helping" -- and then, settle in on a good one without having to take all the others along with it. My guess would be that it is the Rhodiola rosea that is providing these benefits you've mentioned. Try it alone someday -- I'd suggest you look at Mind Body & Spirit, which is what I use. There's a huge difference in a quality stand-alone herb -- I'm not talking about one of the $5 bottles of Rhodiola that you can buy in a drug store or at a GNC. I started on Rhodiola using a combination product, something from Sweden with multiple herbs in it, and soon changed over when I had a chance to see the effect of the one MAIN herb in it, which proved to be Rhodiola. All I can say is WOW. ): |
