Hi everybody, im concerned I may have an issue relating the nerves in my neck but im not sure what it could be.
Ive had a stiff neck for years, there is always a slight pain/pressure at the back left of my neck. My jaw csn feel tight and i have ear pressure too. This is all on my left side. I went to the docs and they said TMJ which is a good assumption, but didnt actually look into it. I get numbing of the left side of my face and cheekbone tightness. It can radiate around the left side of my head and down to my shoulder. My neck feels weaker than it should and if i look down to my chest i get the pain in the back left of my neck. I also get dizzy spells and vision problems sometimes. I have been told that when standing my back looks disaligned too. Any ideas whether its all caused by TMJ? or if it could be nerve related? Or any other ideas? Many tha thanks everyone |

Maybe you need a better exam that does more in-depth checking.
Sounds like some things need to be ruled in or out.. Like possible scoliosis, TMJ, ON, neck strain, neck muscle issues or some other neck issues ?? A very good DO or a expert DC should be able to help you out with a comprehensive check up.. I almost feel like the Docs were Check head/shoulders , hips , knees from side & front view - level & aligned? Any sports injuries , accidents hits or falls in the past? Those things can show up as we age..
