Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And never brought to mind? Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And auld lang syne! For me it's not dwelling on the old. Frankly I still go to the 'old'. Everyone did not leave. Many here still go to the other place. It's not harmful for competition to exist; look at Circuit City/Best Buy, etc. Just an example of coexisting in good will. If you don't find it one place you go to another. I have started many new threads here. Nothing to do with old stuff. Just want to tie up loose ends. Also, no I don't want to give up the Post Card thing cause it's old. It is nice. I welcome the new friends here and the old. I am glad for them all. Tootsie

D~~ IMHO, there should be no competition between any boards. I think what the Administrators are trying to say is, THIS is a diff board and they'd like you to leave other board info where it generated.
NT is open, friendly and a great place, but there are people that have been here a long time and rely on it just as all members who did the same elsewhere. I think Chemar's point was a very good one, let's honor it.. Glad you like it here and everyone is sooooo welcome, but let's close the door on something that has nothing to do w/NT. It's only right. Welcome again. Please don't take this personally, it was not meant to be.

I feel like we are running around like the proverbial 'bulls in a china shop'! LOL By talking about the old as much as we do, we are probably alienating ourselves from long-time members of this board.I, for one, don't want to do that. From now on, I'm only going to pm about old stuff.I'm trying not to speak for everyone and really don't want offend anyone who is new or old to this wonderful, informative, and supportive world.Just my not so humble opinion, as usual LOL!

All I said in the original post is that it would be nice if we could finish up some of the old stuff we left behind.
Some people have moved their thread here; I only mentioned continuing the postcard thread (and it does seem to be happening here). For myself, I'm posting new things here and I'm enjoying going to both boards. One of the threads there had another reply from 'Kat' (founder) and explained a bit more of what happened. Tootsie

Please let it drop now, Diane. The thread is up and going in the MS Social Chat forum. If you need to communicate re: that subject, please, please do it there, via PM, or via email.

I don't diss the other world; I said simply it would be nice to tie up loose ends. I've been to the postcard thread; I've enjoyed that thread both here and there. I do go to the other place and I see you do too or someone using your name. I post there and I post here. I don't see it as the least bit unfair. We have many from the old place who are using their posts from there to continue here. There are also still some confused members over at MSWorld and I tell them to visit us and that they can use both resources or as many as they want. The Internet is still a free world. You can visit as many boards as you feel you can keep up with. I feel that I have many positive threads here; why not say something nice to me instead of always being so critical. I've reread my post and there is nothing nasty in it. Tootsie

I think the issue Diane is that the same thread is up in the MS Social Chat room now.
