I hope you all the success with the pump - one never really realizes how

horrible those medication side effects are until you no longer ingest those things. They mess with your whole body.

Glad your trial went well. My trial went just slightly better than where I am now, but that was not a major surgery.
I had IV sedation for the tubes in the spine and general anesthesia for the pump implant. I won't even need a refil until Oct 1.

Well, my time is still limited on the computer so I must go.
Martha, I hope Topomax takes it easy on you this time.

My driver (Dale Jr.) just went to Hendrick Motorsports - the team of the 24 and 48 cars (Jeff Gordon and $&%*@ Jimmy Johnson). Seriously, this is bothering me, because i cannot STAND Jeff or Jimmy.

Our family has the same reaction, my grandson for some reason like a driver named Mikey,,,,like his Dad. But husband is ready to through out the smoker cooker he won and all his collection.

about yesterday. I help coach a church league co-ed softball league. Mainly stand around, helping 14-18yr olds work on their fielding, how to throw the ball, etc. Well, last night we were short on people for practice, so the coaches played. I thought it would be a mistake for me to play, but....
like i said, i'm dumb. I played. Swung a bat for the first time in 2yrs. I batted a few times, and actually hit pretty well. The whole time tho I had that nagging voice in my ear "this is a really dumb idea....... hey idiot, listen to me, you're being dumb." Hopefully thats the last time i ignore that voice for a while. I will admit though, it was a blast playing. I forgot how much I miss really being able to play.

Dabbo -I know what you mean about the sports stuff -
I can shoot a few baskets, hit a couple of tennis or baseballs - but the baseball /bat jarring concussion of the hits are bad for me.

And with my right shoulder- i can't throw overhanded for beans! or hit overhand tennis balls.
I can make the first basket hoop shot - but lose the arm control/coordination fast after that one.
underhanded or side throws are OK for me like Frisbee...
