Has anyone tried the chic shaper ? I haven't gotten one yet, but I'm thinking about it. It's a bra supporter......so it would mean an extra set of straps, but it is supposed to help hold your shoulders back and give you better posture.

dr urschel prescribed do not wear one.
mine are pretty big. it looks awful but as soon as i get home i take it off. it is mildly uncomfy to droop too. occcasionally i can find or modify a vest to give support and be comfy. usually the material that works best is a knit but not very stretchy. here in the texas gulf coast such a thing is terribly hot 3/4 of the yr. if i must wear one i do best with a sports bra that is a size too big for me. if it's not a sports bra the straps fall down and drive me crazy. i had a bad time when i broke my shoulder. a bra was out of the question but i had to cope with a shoulder immobilizer sling. i cheated a lot and took it off when i was awake and lying down. when i had to wear it i used a sheepskin cover for the strap. i am tempted sometimes to use it on my bra. however my bra also digs in below the breast so i guess i would need the matching sheepskin steering wheel cover. |

This is one reason I am happy I have small boobs! I used to hate the fact but now it makes it easy. I don't have the pressure that you endowed ladies have. I used to want them and now, happy I don't. Best of luck! Linda

The 'Body by Victoria's' seamless cami seems to be the most comfortable fit for me. Recently I discovered the 'as seen on tv' thingies that you hook onto the back of your bra straps called "Strap-Perfect Concealer Clips". It forces the straps off the center of the shoulder and moves them closer to the neck. it's taken the pressure off my tender areas and made carrying the 'puppies' much easier!
The only difficulty with them is getting in and out of the bra. If you had someone around to help - these would be ideal!

Hey astern
ugh... I have someone around but he's not always around when I need him for dressing ...or Kinesio tape... ...... so it's not a guarantee just to have someone either. How about a front closing bra and that gizmo? I think I seen that gizmo in the "Walter Drake" catalog today. So I Googled "Walter Drake" and couldn't find it. but it was in their catalog, a little disk/wingy thingy to pull your straps inward between your scapulas... BTW, while looking around I found this. Makes my mind wonder http://www.wdrake.com/WalterDrake/Sh...tBy=Rank%20ASC I dare you to order and tell
