if you scroll down PAST the map, there is a box that says "Get your local Aches & Pains forecast." If you enter your zip code in the white box nd click "GO", it will give you what they consider to be your "forecast" (INCLUDING THE 10 DAY!) for how your pain will be affected by the weather. This is based on THEIR FORMULA which is:

Now, some of us may ONLY be affected by barometric pressure, or the humidity, or the temperature or whatever. But the GOOD THING is that this is the only site I've found after googling for HOURS that will give you a 10-day extended "Aches and Pains Forecast" determined by their formula (if you find that works for you). Boy, I wish i knew what last weekend was....cuz I was REALLY BAD over the weeked and I'd like to know what my number was! Anyway...just a tool for you all....I know I'm going to use it just to see what it says for a while. Perhaps it will be worth keeping an eye on for a bit! Hugs LisaM |

That's so cool!
I found this page also - http://www.weather.com/activities/he...m=secondarynav Where you can type in your zip code and it gives you the weather for today and the aches and pain index for today, along with a 10-day weather forecast and below that is a 10-day aches and pains index forecast. I like the 10-day aches and pains forecast because if their caculations of pain index match my pain flare days, then the forecast feature could really help me to be able to plan activities (like what day to plan to shop or clean and what days to plan to go to a hockey game) ![]() Good find ![]()

THey don't do this in UK. It is interesting and weather does play its part in pain. It would be helpful here but somedays our weather is not as was forecast...
It has gone colder here..but we have had it very mild for a long time..so now out come the thermal gloves etc... Take care |

The first way is the link you posted - the map of the US that is color-coded to show high and low pain areas. The second way is the link I posted where you type in your zip code and get the specific pain index for your area, along with a 10-day pain index forecast. It's just 2 different ways of looking at the same information. One is national and is just for todays weather, the other is local and is for today and the next 10 days. I posted the link to the local pain index because that is the way I prefer to look at the info (on a local level with a 10 day forecast), and I thought I would share it in case other people also prefer to look at the info locally instead of nationally. Personal preference as to which area of weather.com people prefer to use.
