I've spent nearly my entire life in search of something that can do just a portion of what this thing can do. I liked it in the store, on the neck adjustment setting, because it hit the sides of my neck, where my SCMs and carotid are... But when I got it home and looked at the directions I realized you can adjust it for the shoulders, upper back, and lower back... and this thing is absolutely AMAZING. Got knots in the shoulder blades? OMG! This thing DIGS into your shoulder blades like NOTHING on the market.
It's one of those shiatsu types, so it can be a bit forceful on you, and a bit tough on you while it's working on you... But when you are done, you are like JELLO. Seriously, I'm moving my neck around after a few minutes with this thing, and I'm hearing a little crackling... I never hear crackling because my neck is usually so tight, the bones don't move. And I haven't taken a muscle relaxant yet today, so for this thing to work like this... OMG! It's probably not for everyone, and it is pricey, but for me, it's definitely worth it. It's my new best friend! http://www.relaxtheback.com/shoulder...roduct-6451258 ~ Jenny |

Thanks for the report Jenny!
I'm wondering if.. 2 days later... you have the same opinion of the device? I know for many of us, pain can come up 24 hrs later or more from an activity. Anne

The product link doesn't work anymore, but it has "shoulderflex" in it. A search reveals that it was recalled after a strangulation death:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/0..._n_938460.html http://www.shoulderflex.com/ Based on what I'm reading it should be safe for a shirtless person with no jewelry and short hair. You might also keep the plug or power switch handy to turn it off if it starts attacking you. ![]() |

It's kind of like a chiropractic version of manual trigger point therapy.
