Default A positive post

Many times I have come here with worry or to help people the best I can.

I have been working on my city board to bring public transportation to this little city in Northern Arizona. Between Covid and remote zoom meetings. To delays on anything and everything.

I am so proud we will have a on demand connector bus line. This is for everyone even visitors.

For $2 dollars one way you can get anywhere in town.
For the disabled, vets, and anyone over 60 you ride for $1.

And anyone who is signed up to the local caregiver network, you will get to your Dr. and back for FREE!

This will all be starting August 29 2024.

I have really stuck my neck out to city council, and in board meeting! Being disabled do to my TBI and not allowed to drive for over 17 years this may be the best thing that has happened to me since my accident?

I am so exited that I will get out, get farther, and wont cost me lost of money like Uber is! We are starting slow(financial reasons). It will run 4 days a week, Thursday-Sunday. If it is successful, eventually run 7 days a week.

For 15 years I have attended meetings and giving input. About 3 years ago they started a board for citizens to help implement and give input.

As of today I am proud to be disabled and I am making a difference for everyone in my town! I sure hope it is a big hit and we can expand in a few years.
